Customer Review: Kitchen Workhorse at a reasonable price

This large non-stick saute pan is the workhorse of my kitchen. I needed (magnetic) stainless to go with my new induction cooktop and my only other real option was an All-Clad at $200+. I've used it a half-dozen times and so far the non-stick surface has lived up to its hype: very, very easy to clean and no sign of scratching or flaking. I'm happy with this Circulon Steel product and will probably buy more of this line.

Gleaming stainless steel on the outside with Circulon's hi-low non-stick surface on the inside, this set is geared to those who like performance and easy care. An aluminum core improves the pan's ability to heat evenly and quickly. Phenolic handles keep you comfortable as you move your cookware from burner to stove or to counter. The deep straight sides of this pan allow you to add liquid as you sautE and simmer. A cover creates a moist, self-basting environment. Very useful and suitable for many different types of cuisine, foods, and cooking methods, the saute pan is a kitchen essential.Concentric grooves in the bottom and an advanced, titanium-composite nonstick coating create a rugged, unique food-release system inside this 12-inch sauté pan. The exterior and lid are made of 18/10 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, adding beauty to the pan's stovetop performance. The concentric grooves (Circulon's patented "Hi-Low" design) create narrow ridges to take utensil abuse, leaving the low, wide grooves unscathed over time. Clad in stainless steel for good looks and easy cleaning, a thick aluminum disk on the pan's bottom distributes heat quickly and evenly. Both lid and pan have synthetic handles--grooved on the sides for slip resistance--that stay cool on the stovetop and are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. The pan holds 5 quarts and has straight sides so there're extra room for sautéing food or for braising and cooking one-dish meals.
