I looked at several different brands of kettles and they didn't seem to be the quality I was looking for... I am very happy that I went with the circulon contempo :) It has a good weight to it, the enamel is well done and the handle feels rugged (I also really like the red color which is a little brighter in person, I think). My only complaint is that the kettle is shipped with the handle unattached and it wasn't secured very well so the hardware was bouncing around in the box... Thankfully, the enamel wasn't scratched or anything but a better packing job would be nice. Other than that - so far, so good!
